AGM, QUIZ & Fish & Chip Supper, Friday 29th April 2022
In 2020, our Quiz and Fish & Chip supper was cancelled because of Coronavirus. In 2021 we managed to hold an online Quiz, but again had to forego a Fish & Chip supper. This year we are planning to hold a quiz & share a Fish supper in person in the village Memorial Hall. Apart from being our only fund raiser, this will give us all the chance to meet socially and enjoy each other's company whilst getting to grips with another of Paul Young's quizzes.
Our AGM this year is on Friday, 29th April, starting at 7:00 p.m. It will be followed by the Quiz during which a Fish & Chip supper will be served. The AGM is primarily for members of the Society. People who are not currently members, but who have tickets for the Quiz & Fish & Chip supper, may attend the AGM, but cannot vote. Members can choose to attend the AGM only, & leave before the Quiz gets underway at about 7:30.
A separate Newsletter will be available shortly covering the AGM, and that Newsletter will also include a link to enable you to update your membership, in order to remain a member of the Society for the 2022/2023 season.
As mentioned Paul Young has once again set and will be running the quiz, with his knowledgeable and glamorous assistant Sue.
The Quiz plus Fish & Chip supper will be provided at a ticket price of £8.50 per person as was the case when we last held a similar event in April 2019. A cash bar will be available. Please note that you cannot bring your own alcoholic beverages to the quiz.
Quiz teams will be limited to six people. We can accommodate a maximum of 66 in total. So don’t delay.

If you are part of a team, please send details (if known) of the team name and the other team members using Form 2.
