About

The Welford and Weston Local History Society has been in existence since 1969.  Its objectives are to investigate, discuss, acquire and share knowledge of the history of the two villages, and matters relevant to that history.  We are a membership-based Society and are currently thriving, with a membership of over 100.  We have a schedule of bi-monthly meetings in the Memorial Hall (see Programme section) from September to March, an AGM in April, and a summer visit, usually in early June.

Apart from the announced programme we take part in projects as and when time and interest allows.  If you would like to know more please email via the Contact section.

Membership

Annual membership of the Society costs £5.  For full details click here.

New members are always welcome.  If you are still unsure whether this is for you why not come along to the next meeting (£3 on the door) and judge for yourself.

See you there.  Thanks for reading.
